Programming a Positive Mind

The nature of the mind is one which is constantly and actively busy, sending us messages, recorded tapes so to speak. filled with information about what we are doing, who we are, what we should be doing and  constantly reminding us of all our regrets about the past or unfulfilled expectations about the future. Yoga teaches us to learn to control the mind and to step in to be the masters of our thoughts.

If we simply let the mind take its natural course we would be victims of its nature, which is to actively send us various positive and negative messages about the past and the future. Some of those may be positive and nourishing to us but others might be detrimental and negative. Thus, we believe that we can change the tapes, those messages we run through our minds, and learn to program the show so that all messages are positive, encouraging, uplifting and positive ones. Our reality becomes a reflection of the thoughts living in our minds. Everything starts with a thought, an intention or an idea. By placing the right positive tapes in our minds, we will reap a reality which is just that: fantastic, great, positive and a constant blooming materialization of our positive thoughts and dreams.

Next time we are feeling down, negative about our external world and discouraged, it might be a great time and an open opportunity to scan the nature of our existing thoughts running through our minds; and very much like we would deal with weeds invading and destroying a flourishing garden, we will ensure to plug out the bad and negative thoughts and plant new positive and uplifting ones so we can create the very existence we want to experience in our ever-evolving present reality.

Go ahead! Pick the right thoughts, choose the right and brightest ideas to place in your mind and see magic materialize right in front of your eyes. And above all, have lots fun while you are at it!
