Mission

Mission

My goal is to provide a gentle environment where everyone beyond their personal level of practice, age or needs is welcomed to embrace the practice with a sense of inner peace and love. My mission is to help others embody the essence of YOGA: unity of body, mind and spirit.

Yoga is so much more than a sequence of asanas performed in fancy yoga wear. Yoga starts with the physical body but as we inhale deeply, the goal is to peel off all the layers of the ego, and gradually remove the physical shell that separates us from our core essence so that we can reconnect with our inner peace. Each class is a step forward to our physical expansion, a more fluid movement and better alignment; but specially it sets a stepping stone for the foundation towards the journey inwards to become one with our inner SELF.

Often we tend to meet life and its many stones along the way as fight, a struggle and with an attitude of needing to conquer what is challenging whether the problem manifests at a physical, mental or spiritual realm. Yoga, through the practice of each asana and deep breathing into whatever our bodies are able to deliver each time we land on the mat, invites us to face it all with a new welcoming approach.

Yoga gives us the opportunity to embrace a path of non-resistance, by choosing to willingly receive all which comes to us with open arms. When we stop judging ourselves and what happens to us and labeling it as “good” or “bad”; we open ourselves to the opportunity to be at one with what we are experiencing in the present moment: we give ourselves the opportunity to experience peace; thus, the inner struggle and fight is over!

My deepest desire is creating a space for everyone to arrive to a place of silence on their mats to fully accept, validate, love and embrace themselves physically, mentally and spiritually; so as to embody genuine inner peace. Furthermore, to inspire and empower through the tools of breathing, gentle movement, positive thinking and relaxation to bring that state of calmness into every moment of their everyday life. Every movement can either create tension or release it; I wish to give you the tools to move in such a way that all your movements create relaxation.

My goal is that your yoga practice doesn’t stop when you leave your mat but it may impregnate every waking moment of your life. Thus bringing you to a state where every activity, each movement, each breath becomes easy flowing, an opportunity to release tension, to remain calm and to give you excellence in your quality of life.

I am hoping that I can provide tools that support you to become an active participant in your own health, wellness and happiness providing opportunities for physical self-awareness and transformation in the fluidity of each of movement, so that healing becomes the flourishing of the vibrant full realization and expression of your true self. Thus, you reestablish a relationship of kindness, respect, honesty, love and peace with you.
